Brass steam whistle used aboard a WWII Liberty Ship, complete with valve and lever, probably Lonergan via example. (The makers name on the metal lever is completely worn off) Good overall condition with no cracks or dents. Acorn finial top. 2 inch diameter bell. Overall height: 11 3/4 inches including mounting foot. (This one of two whistles removed from the USN Liberty Ship "S.S.JAMES MILLER."
