An early 20th-century "INEEDA" heavy black-painted cast iron 1 1/4" marine flag pole holder with top cleat for tying off the string and adjustable angle mount that tightens down with a large iron wing nut. Comes with its original tapered 7-foot long hardwood 7-foot long flagstaff, retaining an old varnished finish and fitted with a bronze flag string roller at the top, for threading the guide rope through on the end. Made by Wilcox Crittenden and Company (marked with the "WC" monogram). Embossed "PAT. NOV. 18, 1900 on reverse side of flag bracket. Remains in very good condition with all threads and teeth intact. Base measures 3 7/8" x 2 1/2" x 3/8" thick with 4 countersunk mounting holes and with 14" projection. The bracket weighs 4 pounds 13 ounces.  An exceptional flagstaff and pole bracket to use on your yacht or to install on the front of your home or commercial building!
