Product Description

•••••
Parrel, 4 inch wood trucks (9 beads). Taken from the main mast of the Grand Bank Schooner Harry W. Adams. One of the last fishing schooners ex Bell Isle, Avalon Newfoundland. Arriving at her new home in Toronto, October 1968. The parrel bead is sometimes referred to as a parral bead or even a parallel bead, but they all describe a set of beads threaded onto a rope used to allow a sail or yard to be attached to a mast & slide up & down.
