Wilcox Crittenden Combination Port Starboard Boat Bow Light

Second quarter of the 20th century, classic Wilcox Crittenden combination port and starboard marine bow light with original brass snap-in single-wick burner. The banner brass maker's label is attached to the back of the fixture, stating "HURRICANE TESTED MARINE LIGHTS, WILCOX CRITTENDON & CO. INC., MIDDLETOWN, CONN., USA."  Ruby red and emerald green Fresnel lens survive in good condition, free of cracks or chips. The galvanized metal and brass lantern body with removable lens divider retains an old, seaworn green painted surface. Interior reflector. Brass top ring is attached to the lantern top. Removeable snap-in type fitted oil font burner Stands 6 1/2 inches tall exclusive of top ring. Five inches across the back.
