British Made Brass Ships Cabin Lantern - Nautical Table Lamp

Authentic, British made brass ships cabin lantern, re-purposed years ago into an exquisite nautical table lamp. Features an upper reading light above the solid brass housing. Three glass window panes with one in front and on each side. The pane in the hinged access door is removable for easy cleaning or breakage and opens to reach the original all-brass slideout burner. Wavy metal reflecting backplate. Top bail handle above an interior arched chimney. Mounted on to a custom wood base with rich dark mahogany finish. retains a pleasing aged bronze/brass patina. Engraved "Made in Great Britain" on the back of the fixture. Makers label is 

missing (probably Davey & Co.). Measures 8 1/2" X 8 1/2" (at base) and 30" tall to the top of the shade. (as shown) We've replaced the old light socket and lamp cord with new.
