Early 20th century all-brass boat marine anchor lantern made by Perkins Marine Lamp Co., Brooklyn, New York. With Fresnel glass lens, brass guards and vented chimney. Dimensions: 4" diameter. X 8 1/2" tall exclusive of bail handle. The original all brass burner is embossed “WEDGE” and the wick advance knob is marked "SHERWOOD, BHAM" (Birmingham, England).  The "PERKINS" name is stamped inside the top lip of the glass Fresnel lens. This lantern survives in "like new" condition.
