Early 20th century matching pair of American made port and starboard lanterns, re-purposed long ago into nautical table lamps. We've removed all of the old electrical hardware and replaced with new. The port lantern features a ruby-red Fresnel lense and the starboard lantern with ocean blue Fresnel lense, and are both protected with double wire guards in front. The lantern housing is made out of galvanized metal and retains an old, encrusted, weathered (probably original) black-painted surface, brass chimney caps with finger rings above. Both lantern glass Fresnel lense survive in good condition, free of chips or cracks. Both lamps are open at the bottom to access the interior light socket.
The lamp lighting choices toggle between the interior light and the lamp light via the upper light switch. You can use either the upper room light, the interior lantern light or both as desired. Measures 21 1/2 inches tall to the top of the shade (as shown) and 5 1/2 inch corners at base. A wonderful pair of authentic, early 20th century nautical lanterns, with lots of maritime charm, re-purposed for today’s nautical home. PRICED AS A PAIR!
The price above is for the pair of nautical table lamps only and do not include lamp shades.
