Authentic, American manufactured PERKO early 20th century galvanized metal anchor lantern that was re-purposed long ago into a nautical table lamp. A wonderful old seafaring marine lantern, featuring a thick, 360 degrees glass Fresnel lens that intensifies the distance of the light similar to a lighthouse lens with six wire guards to protect it. Retains a pleasing verdigris painted surface. The glass Fresnel lens survives in excellent condition with the name PERKO stamped on it. Lantern is open at the bottom to access the lamp interior.
The lamp lighting choices toggle between the interior light and the lamp light via the upper light switch. You can use either the upper room light, the interior lantern light or both as desired. Measures 19 inches tall to the top of the shade (as shown) and 5 inch diameter at base. A great old nautical fixture with lots of maritime charm. The lamp socket and lamp cord are new replacements. A small crack on the upper side of the lantern and a few small dents as well. Finial not included.
Lamp shades are sold separately. Shown here with our 14 inch burlap lamp shade.
